Held at the G/F Immaculate Conception Cathedral Multipurpose Bldg.
Lantana Street, Cubao, Quezon City



1.0 CALL TO ORDER

Bro. Johnny Cardenas called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM

4.0 MATTERS DISCUSSED

4.1 Update on Recruitment of new Coordinators & PAM Seminars


Based on the Pastoral Circular from Bishop Ongtioco, out of the 45 parish
34 (75%) parishes have confirmed their new coordinators
11 (25%) parishes have no coordinators

PAM Seminar held last April 24-25 at the Diocese had 24/45 (53.3%) represented from the parishes of the Diocese of Cubao with a headcount of 42 attendees on April 24 and 37 attendees on April 25.

PAM orientation has been done in MHRP and STP.

The Formation Ministry have tied up with PAM such that the formation modules of PAM will be the one used by Formation Ministry. They will train formators to implement the program..


4.2 Ecology

Last April 27, 2009 Bro. Joe Cuaresma and Mon Sanchez (representing Diocese of Cubao) went to the mountain of San Jose Antipolo to attend Ecology program under the invitation of Fr. Alfredo Albor of CARE (Community Action and Responsibility for environment).
Representative from Diocese of Antipolo, Kalookan and Manila also came.
Kairuz Philippines led the ceremonial/prayer of the groundbreaking of the saving the Marikina Watershed. This watershed was originally 280,000 hectares and is now reduced to 19,000 hectares. Some portion of the land will be allocated to different diocese to save and protect it. 50 hectares will be allocated to Diocese of Cubao.
There was also a demonstration on the new method of preparing compost using EM1

[b]4.3 2010 Election[/b]

The automation in the 2010 election will be on computerized counting of ballots only.
Asia Pacific School will design a program for PPCRV so that they could do a parallel vote count validation using computers.
Bro. Johnny showed the power point presentation of the Election process.
Registered voters can verify the names in comelec.gov.ph website.
Bro. Jonathan announced that they were able to bring COMELEC registration group to their parish.

4.4 PAT

Ed Chavez of task force PAT (Participation Accountability & Transparency) gave a presentation on the profile of the task force. This was organized in September 2008 to oversee the P4B Q.C. Government money that will be left behind by Mayor Belmonte.
Councilor George Banal Jr. explained his proposed bill “Ordinance Strenghtening the system of Partnership in local governance between Q.C. government and the People of the City” Ord. no. 2008-111.
